10 good ways to de-stress

  1. Think about a time in the past when you've successfully handled a similar situation.

  2. Ask yourself how someone you admire would handle the situation.

  3. Breathe! Deeply & slowly.

  4. Try to see humor in the situation.

  5. Answer the age-old (but truly effective) question: "Will this matter to me in 5 years?"

  6. Take a long, relaxing bath!

  7. Remember these 4 words: Life is too short.

  8. Stand up for yourself! Reduce the stress you suffer from being bullied or bulldozed. The situation may not change, but at least you're keeping your pride & self- confidence.

  9. Make a list of 5 things you like to do but don't do often enough. Take time this week to do at least one of them.

  10. Remember: All that anyone can ever ask of you is that you do your best.
